Seeking help for life’s challenges is a courageous act. Whether you’re dealing with a difficult transition, experiencing overwhelming emotions, or feeling stuck in your personal or professional life, exploring what’s troubling you in a supportive environment can lay the groundwork for lifelong fulfillment. (Skeptical? Watch a short video about what psychotherapy is and how it works.)
I provide weekly counseling to individual adults in Seattle. Many of my clients see themselves as introverted, creative, and/or highly sensitive. I work with people facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, shyness, self-criticism, life transitions, difficulty in relationships, and the effects of racism, sexism, homophobia, and trauma. You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
